Frenchie born and raised in Toulouse, teenager I started to use streets as a playground in the ending 90's inspired by the colored cartoon alike graffitis covering the walls of the Pink city.
After I ended up my studies and interns in fashion design in Paris, I started to mix graffiti, custom and fashion creations on various mediums such as canvas, dirty illegal walls and delicate fabrics.
In 2007 I moved in Tokyo and worked 2 years in Japan as a ~~dishwasher, private teacher, graphic designer, extra,~~ visual artist, and stylist at DOG/Harajuku by day, and as a live painting performer in the underground tokyo parties by night.
With the impossibility of painting in the japanese streets I started to enjoy a new freedom by creating on many different mediums, participating to a lot of mixed-art events and collaborating with make-up artists, vjs, photographers, street dancers and the musical industry.
The feminine, poetic subjects that I paint are treated with raw and dark lines. I self-define my style as "Dirty Kawaii".
Mainly inspired by any kind of marginality and orientalism, my street drawings are painted with impulsiveness: most of the time with no preparation before, using any kind of medium that I find, mixing charcoal and spray, watercolours and ball point pens, on rice paper, cardboard, canvas, wood or concrete.
Unlimited on mediums and addicted to globe exploring, I regularly auto-finance residences projects, spending a couple of months to explore the wild street lifes, meet radically different cultures (Sao Paulo, Hong Kong..) and to improvise in interaction with that unknown environments.
I'm currently living in the neighbourhood of Gion, the geisha district of Kyoto.
