Et voilà !

L'exposition est visible jusqu'au 5 mars, il s'agit de ma première "vraie" série de toiles...un support longtemps délaissé au profit de très grands formats dans des contextes me procurant beaucoup d'adrénaline. J'ai pris énormément de plaisir à travailler dessus, pouvoir tester des techniques plus approfondies en ayant beaucoup plus de temps et de confort qu'en performance ou dans la rue, tout en gardant une très grande part d'improvisation, jouer sur les différents cadrages ou le mélange de matières. Cette série m'a permis de fournir un travail différent, plus abouti, et de raconter "DISORDER": des tranches de vie et d'énergie inspirées de mes rencontres à Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok et plus récemment São Paulo. 

J'espère que le voyage vous a plu, il se poursuit bientôt par un séjour chromatique et un retour très attendu ♡...stay tuned !

The exhibition will last until march 5th, it's my first "real" series of canvas...a medium that I've abandoned for a while prefering very big sizes and contexts bringing me a lot of adrenalin.

I've had a lot of pleasure to work on it, testing new technics, taking much more time than during a performance or in the street, while keeping improvising, trying different framings, mixing mediums. It permitted me to realize a different and more thorough work, and tell the story of "DISORDER": slices of life and energy inspired by people I met in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and more recently São Paulo.

I hope you enjoyed the trip, it will soon go on with a chromatic journey and a very attending come back  ♡ ...stay tuned !

Oi muchachos !

I'm currently working on a series of canvas...and unusually taking my time to make it look as good as i want it to be (as I'm more used to paint on big walls illegally in the streets or during live performances in dark and wet night clubs full of weirdos).

I have absolutely no idea if I'll get any chance to expose this work in another place than my tiny workshop someday... so I'm just going to share some details with you, in hope that you'll see the final result this winter.

As I mentioned before, La Braderie de l'art was my last time ever "custom"-"artist on sale" event...Even if I fell a bit like a freak in a zoo or a worker in a factory, it was a real challenge -creating 30 hours non-stop with 2nd hand furnitures a front of + 10 000 visitors- and people from the "Ch'nord" are definitly cool.
Here are a few of the improvisions I made last week-end, as you may have noticed, most were directly inspired by Alice in Wonderland's Lewis Carroll's tale as an extension of my last live-painting:

"B r a d e r i e ' d e ' l ' a r t " (Roubaix)

Oh my...Can I do it ? Hopefully I will !
"La braderie de l'art de Roubaix" is an event that kind of remind me Design Festa in Tokyo.
150 international artists selected (performers, painters, sculptors,...) for a non-stop 24 hours perform (!!).

Only one rule: picking up second hand objects/furnitures/papers/clothes and recycle it by improvising creations on or with it.
Everything is gonna be sold between 1 and 250 euros which is a good opportunity to go back home with a unic piece of art or make an original present for christmas.
You could find me at the "graffiti-street art" corner, either live painting or sleeping behind my pots of acrylic...
Roubaix is just 2h30 by train from Paris, located at the border of Belgium on the very north of France, and right next to Lille which is a very cool city so if you can, you should consider visiting both Bruxelles, Lille and come say hi in Roubaix !
Probably the last time ever I'm part of such an event so hope to see you around...

Rendez-vous à "la braderie de l'art de Roubaix" les 5 et 6 décembre prochains. 150 artistes internationaux sélectionnés, 24h non-stop de performance (!!) et une seule règle: s'approprier ou détourner des objets/meubles/vêtements de seconde main pour en faire des créations.
Chacune d'entre elles sera vendue entre 1 et 250 euros...c'est l'occasion ou jamais de dénicher une pièce unique et fraîchement créee.
Pour ma part, vous me retrouverez dans le corner "street art-graffiti", soit en plein live painting soit en pleine sieste derrière mes pots d'acrylique.
Roubaix se trouve à peine à 2h30 de train de Paris, entre Lille et la frontière belge donc si vous en avez l'occasion je vous suggère de faire un tour à Bruxelles, Lille et de passer nous faire coucou à Roubaix ! En espérant vous voir dans les parages...

"Oh, look who's back !!" ...I'm just going out of the wildest jungle ever to come and pass by the city of depression love: Paris ! Tadam !
Not that I miss the agressive and posh mood there but I couldn't miss out the already "party-to-be" of the year: Soukmachines at GLAZART !
If you've been to the one at Loft 66 last january, this is gonna be even more awesome, not only because I'll be live painting with my bodyguards SIXO and LOEILPARTOO, but also because meanwhile, amazing artists are going to rock the place and make you sweat as hell (while the 3 of us, poor hippies will be freezing outside of the club...hot chocolates welcomed) !
I can't wait and I hope to see you there ⚐
